Highlights / General details
We will visit the most important halls and courtyards of the Alhambra including the Patio de los Arrayanes (myrtle courtyard), the Patio de los Leones (lions courtyard), the ‘Salon de los Embajadores’ (ambassadors’ hall), and the ‘Sala de los Abencerrajes’ which was the scene of a tragic legend. In addition, we shall also visit the Alcazaba or fortress, the royal baths, the partial gardens and the palace of Charles V.

The visit will then continue to the Generalife, situated next to the Alhambra, and which was a place of leisure and recreation for the Moorish kings of Granada. The Generalife contains magnificent gardens with many varied sorts of flowers and fountains, described by the poet "the hidden water weeps". The visit includes two further courtyards, the Patio de la Acequia and the Patio de la Sultana.

Hours of operation
Available daily, all year round. No tour departures on January 2 and December 25.
Departure from Welcome visitor center: 9:30am - 10:00am, unless otherwise specified.

Approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.

The tour will be in 2 different languages (Spanish and English) simultaneously.
All customers visiting the Alhambra must provide their full names and passport numbers. The Alhambra & Generalife Gardens Board will check all passports, the customers must carry the passport or ID (original/or a photocopy) the day of the visit. It is the customer responsibility to inform the proper details in the booking, if the details are wrong, the customer will not be able to visit the monument.

Policies
A 100% cancellation penalty applies if cancelled 12 working days prior to tour date.
A 50% cancellation penalty applies if cancelled between 13 and 17 working days prior to tour date.
A 20% cancellation penalty applies if cancelled after date of booking confirmation. Complete information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, will be included on your Confirmation Voucher.
