Your tour begins with a scenic ride through the countryside before arriving at your eco adventure playground where you will be briefed by trained professionals on your zip line equipment and journey. Once you are ready be prepared to swing through the trees from platform to platform Tarzan Style over the 12 lines and 2 miles (3 km) that are suspended above the jungle canopy. You will have spectacular views and beauty of Puerto Plata from both the sky and the ground, once you have landed back on solid ground you will get to explore the jungle on foot as you follow your guide on a nature walk. Get an up-close look at native wildlife and plants as you take in the magnificent scenery before heading to the riding stables.

Follow your guide through the Puerto Plata jungle for a 30-minute horseback ride. Then, head back to the ranch, where you’ll enjoy a complimentary beverage before relaxing on the trip back to your Puerto Plata hotel. This is the perfect tour whilst in the Dominican Republic for those seeking adventure and nature combined.

Hours of operation
Available Tuesday and Friday at 8:00am and 12:30pm. Pickup times vary depending on hotel.

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes that fasten securely. Use biodegradable sunscreen and insect repellent.

Participant restrictions
The activity is not recommended for persons with severe back problems, any severe physical or motor handicaps, children under 4 years and pregnant women. Minimum weight is 60lbs, maximum is 275lbs and must fit into the safety harness (max 48" waist and 26" each thigh). Excursion not available for clients staying at Hotel Bahia Principe San Juan.
