Itinerary
At 9:00am, our friendly driver will be at your hotel lobby after having your breakfast. Our first stop will be the beautiful Floating Mosque that is surrounded by a man made lagoon. The unique architecture of the mosque is what set it apart from any other mosque in Kota Kinabalu. After visiting the floating mosque, we will head to the Atkinson Tower in the city centre. It is one of the wooden buildings that survived the allied bombing during the Second World War. We will move further up to the outskirts of the city and visit a local market or “TAMU” that is rarely be seen by travelers in the town of Donggongon, Penampang. You will see how the local people live and what are they selling at the market. You will see many unique things such as endemic fruits, veggies, and lots more. After visiting the local market, we will go to one of the famous local places to eat that is not easy to find without the help from our guide. After having your lunch, our last stop will be the Kota Kinabalu Crocker Range National Park, Inobong Substation. Along the way, you will get to see the local villages. Upon reaching the substation, you will get to see the beautiful panoramic view of the whole city and the islands nearby. Our driver will transfer you back to your hotel.
