Have fun gliding through the timeless streets of Florence on the coolest ride of the 21st century.
The Segway Tour starts with a 30 minute orientation session at our premises. Once you feel comfortable riding the Segway we will start our journey to the Historic Center of town, here you will have the opportunity to visit all the important areas of our City while listening to your guide comfortably thru your headpiece set. You could almost consider our tours private, since we believe in quality rather than quantity our groups are limited to a minimum of 2 an a maximum of 8 clients per tour. Needless to say you’ll have unique photo opportunities to capture the everlasting architecture of Florence.

We do not visit the inside of monuments and museums; Beverages; Souvenirs; Gratuities (optional).

Hours of operation
Available daily departing at 9:30am and 2:30pm. No tour departures on: January 1; April 1; June 2 & 24; December 25.

Duration
Approximately 3 hours.

Location
Departure Point: Segway Office located in Via dei Cimatori 9 Red – Florence, between Piazza della Signoria and the House of Dante Alighieri. We are located about 100 meters to Signoria square and 500 meters to the Duomo.

Additional Information
It is highly suggested to wear flat footwear that protects your feet and provides good support (NOT high-heeled shoes).

Participant restrictions
Riders must be over 90 pounds (40 kilos) and less than 265 pounds (120 Kilos).
SEGWAY Children Policy: The Segway is appropriate for virtually anyone between 14 and 70 of age, with a minimum of 145 cm (4,75 ft) of height and over 40 kilos (90 pounds) of weight.
Children under 18 years of age cannot take part of our tours alone. They must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
Please note that our staff will have the right to decline accepting your child without any obligation to refund you for her/his tickets.
Riders must be able to easily and quickly step on and off the Segway without assistance, which requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without any assistance or use of a handrail.
Riders need to be physically and mentally self-efficient.
The use of the Segway is Not recommended for pregnant women and for people over 70 years old.

Policies
Cancellation: 7 days prior 30% penalty, 3 days prior 100% penalty. No show 100% penalty.
Tour operates with a maximum of 8 passengers.
We do not visit inside the monuments and museums.
The tour goes on rain or shine. Circumstances of exceptional character: Strikes, cancellations due to adverse weather conditions, war, civil or military strife, riots, natural disasters, sack, terrorist activity: these and similar others, constitute causes of force majored and are not chargeable to the carriers or the Organizer. If due to such causes, the Organizer will not be responsible for any possible extra costs born by the traveler, and will not provide refunds for any services not used or provided.
