Itinerary
Get your taste buds ready for Berlin! The city is a dynamic food city, and we’re going to be tasting everything from old local classics to modern multicultural fare – this Berlin food tour is going to be great.
To work up an appetite we’ll admire the panoramic view of Berlin’s skyline from the famous Oberbaum Bridge. With some of the last leftovers of the Berlin Wall in sight, we hear stories about the quirky annual “Water and Vegetable Battle” before entering the busy streets of Kreuzberg. Along the way on this Berlin Kreuzberg tour you’ll see where Old Berlin traditions meet new influences, and discover the tasty hidden gems of the quarter!
In our opinion, there's only one way to start a Berlin food tour: with a hearty Currywurst. Enjoy the Berliners’ all-time favorite in an authentic little spot before wandering through the charming streets of Wrangelkiez, full of character, little shops, “Spätis”, and grocery stores.
Soak in the aromas of a typical Turkish spice shop and nibble some delicious, freshly roasted nuts or dried fruits (beware: you might not want to leave the shop, it smells so good!). If you dare, stop and sample a “Rollmops”, an old-time Berlin finger food. Can you eat it in one bite?
Kreuzberg is the creative nucleus of Berlin's street art scene. Throughout the food tour we’ll pass by countless murals, tags, and bombings, including some pieces of world-famous artists. Admire Blu's Leviathan or the wicked Animals of ROA, or just discover your own personal favorite among the many anonymous pieces.

Between mosques and record shops, whole food stores and currywurst stands, artists and students, Kreuzeberg is the place to breathe in some real Berlin air!
