Kimchi Making & Hanbok Wearing Tour

Highlights / General details
Making Kimchi allows the participants to learn Korean history and culture, with the activity itself guided by a professional kimchi maker. After the kimchi-making session, you may taste the kimchi you made and even have it packed up.

We'll then try on Hanbok, a traditional Korean dress often characterized by vibrant colors and simple lines without pockets. The term itself means "Korean clothing," but it refers to the hanbok worn during the Joseon period and is worn in traditional festivals and celebrations.

Afterwards, we'll head for a visit at the Bukchon Hanok Village, a traditional village composed of alleys and hanok, which is preserved to show a 600-year old urban environment.

We'll also visit the Samcheongdong Road that streches from Gyeongbokgung Palace to Samcheong Tunnel. Past the tunnel is the the Samcheong Park, famous for its thick forest and scenic views.

Our last stop is at Insa-dong Street, an important place located in the heart of the city, where old but precious and traditional goods are on display. Within the alleys of this street are galleries, traditional restaurants, tea houses and cafes.
