The Li River twists and turns between lush, green rock formations known in geographic terms as karsts. The mountainous terrain is covered with lush bamboo and luxuriant forests, and the river itself is a highway of small boats from the villages that dot the shores.

You'll be cruising upriver for the next four hours, sitting in cushioned comfort in the main cabin or enjoying the open-air viewing platform. This is a photographer's dream, and you'll want to capture the dramatic landscapes that Chinese artists have been painting for centuries. A traditional Chinese cuisine lunch will be served onboard, with local favorites and fresh catches from the Li River.

Your destination is the village of Yangshuo, where you'll disembark and stroll amid the colorful, bustling marketplace of local street vendors (depends on the time and is not guaranteed*). After you stretch your legs and see the sights, it's a bus trip back to Guilin to see the farms and countryside away from the river. Then transfer back to your hotel in Guilin city center.

Then you will drive to the Jingshan park, a former imperial garden in the north of the Forbidden City. From this hill you can have a wonderful view of Beijing. Finally, you will visit a silk shop where you can make some shopping for your relatives back home. Lastly, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Hours of operation
Available daily. Hotel pick-up is between 7:00am and 8:30am depending on other customer’s hotel pick-up. The exact time will be informed by your guide a day before the tour starts (normally after 6:00pm) by a phone call.
No tour departures on China public holidays.

Duration
Approximately 10 hours; Tour ends at 5:00pm.

Meet your guide at the lobby of your hotel in Guilin city center (within the city ring road).

Children under 2 years old are free of charge.
Passport copies of all customers are needed when booking to issue the cruise ticket.

Cancellation: 3 days prior 100% penalty. No show 100% penalty.
This product must be purchased minimum 2 days before the departure time.
*Yangshuo: The short stroll in Yangshuo depends on the time and it is not guaranteed. If the cruise arrival time is too late, there is no time to have a little walk in Yangshuo, and customers will be driven back to Guilin directly.
