Highlights / General details
A PRIVATE WELCOME AT THE TOWER OF LONDON:
Your tour begins with a visit to one of London's most iconic attractions - The Tower of London, before the crowds. We will enter as one of the first admitted groups of the day before proceeding directly to the most historic part – The White Tower. There we will be welcomed by a White Tower warden for a private talk on its unique history. Then enjoy exclusive access to the new ‘Armoury in Action’ exhibition. The Tower has always played a prominent role in British History. Explore all 4 floors, including the Royal Armouries Collection. Enjoy the spectacular display of the Crown Jewels, revealing these priceless treasures like never before. The Crown Jewels are part of the Royal Collection and are still used regularly by the Queen.

GEMS OF THE CITY:
We head into the City of London where you will see St. Paul's Cathedral and the Bank of England. Then cross over Tower Bridge to visit Borough Market.

EXPLORE LONDON’S OLDEST FOOD & DRINK MARKET:
Borough Market is London’s most renowned food and drink market and dates back in its earliest form to 1014. A source of British and international produce, it consists of more than 100 stalls and stands. Producers from all over the country bring a range of fresh produce to the market, including fish, meats, vegetables, ciders, cheeses, breads, coffees, cakes and patisseries. Other stalls specialize in produce imported from abroad.
You will have time to explore the many stalls and avail yourself of some of the local delicacies* before we explore the South Bank, home to the Tate Modern and the Globe Theatre (*optional and cost not included).

A GUIDED TOUR OF WESTMINSTER ABBEY:
Kings, queens, statesmen and soldiers; poets, priests, heroes and villains – Westminster Abbey is a must-see living pageant of British history. The Abbey has been the coronation church since 1066 and is the final resting place of 17 monarchs. The present church, begun by Henry III in 1245, is one of the most important gothic buildings in the country. You will experience a fully guided tour as your Blue Badge guide brings the story of the Abbey to life amid its magnificence and splendor.

AFTERNOON TEA AT WESTMINSTER ABBEY:
Relax as you round off your tour with a delicious afternoon tea in the sumptuous setting of the Cellarium Café located inside Westminster Abbey. Your afternoon tea consists of a selection of savories, homemade sweet and savory scones, a selection of handmade cakes, and a pot of loose English Breakfast tea.

Your tour ends here so you can take your time and enjoy your Afternoon Tea at your own pace.
