Admire the majestic and imposing crater of the Poas Volcano! At an elevation of 8,884 feet this is the perfect place to enjoy magnificent views of the central valley and its enormous crater, considered to be one of the greatest in the world.

Next, we will visit the beautiful coffee plantations at Doka Estate. You will be guided through the estate, visiting the plantations and the 96 year old "beneficio" or coffee mill. Learn how the best coffee beans turn into a fabulous cup of java. Lunch will be at the Doka Estate. Afterwards we will travel to the town of Sarchí. This cradle of Costa Rican crafts includes the famous painted oxcarts.
