The best way to get to know and explore this beautiful town is to take the Puerto Plata walking and bus tour with our expert guides who live and breathe this colorful city. Our first stop is at the Brugal Rum Centre where you can purchase your duty free rum at factory prices, next we head to the Dominican Amber Museum which has on display some of the most unique collection of Dominican amber. Then visit the San Felipe Fort, one of Puerto Plata’s oldest standing buildings, a small museum that houses wartime artefacts such as guns and cannon balls and be sure to stop and take in the endless views of the Atlantic Ocean.

We stop at a local restaurant for lunch before taking a break at Sosua Beach and finding a bargain at the local market. Now get ready to ride a cable car to the top of Isabel de Torres Mountain to take in the breath taking views of the Puerto Plata bay.
