Shaniwar Wada:
Established by Peshwa Baji Rao, Shaniwar Wada is a magnificent fort Pune that was built in the year 1729-30. Lately, it is extended by numerous buildings by the successors of Baji Rao. Once served as seat of the great Peshwa rulers, this majestic Fort was damaged in a fire in 1827. The remains of this fort are still a mystery.

Pataleshwar Cave Temple:

Film and Television Institute of India:
One of the largest film schools in Asia, the FTII offers scores of dram classes to the students by the eminent actors, directors and technicians of the Hindi Film Industry, Bollywood.

Shindyanchi Chhatri:
Constructed between the years 1760 to 1780, Shindyanchi Chhatri temple presents a true Rajasthani architecture. Located at Wanowrie, this grandiose edifice was built in honor warrior Mahadji Shinde, the commander-in-chief of the Maratha army.

Aga Khan Palace:
One of the ancient historical landmarks, Aga Khan Palace is covered by the sumptuous green gardens all around. There are opulent rooms and suites to live in that takes you to the time of royal kings. It is believed that Mahatama Gandhi, his wife Kasturba was imprisoned for many years. Sultan Muhammed Shah, Aga Khan II was created this Palace in the year of 1892.
True to its name this place boasts of Italianate arches and spacious lawns, an unlikely place for a prison but the Britishers interned Mahatma Gandhi and his wife Kasturba Gandhi here. The architecture of the palace will take you down memory lane, reminding you of the illustrations from fairy tale houses.
