Don’t miss the remarkable experience of living Rome on a Segway. This once-in-a-lifetime experience is enriched with the most important historical and up-to-date information on Rome, with loads of enchanting anecdotes, introducing you to her hidden treasures, and entertaining you with her great legacy of legends and stories that seem to resonate throughout the city. Our tours are limited to 6 and a minimum of 2 clients so we guarantee an intimate and unique experience. We will provide you with a set of headphones so you can comfortably listen to your audio-guide OR personal guide. You will listen to Rome’s history peppered with tales about the structure of Roman society, their beliefs, and their social and political life. Discover how the Romans managed to create and control such a vast territory and how that empire declined.

Inclusion
Segway rental 30 minutes; Orientation Session; Licensed tour guide or tour leader - English; Helmet; Ponchos in case of rain; Liability insurance; Audio-Video-Guide system.

Exclusion
We do not visit the inside of monuments and museums; Beverages; Souvenirs; Gratuities.

Hours of operation
Available daily departing at 9:30am year round, at 2:30pm during September-May, at 4:00pm during June-August. No departures on: January 1; April 1; June 2; December 25.

Duration
Approximately 3 hours including 30 minutes of orientation.

Location
The meeting point is at our Office located in Via di Santa Eufemia #15, Rome, about 100 meters to Venezia square and 700 meters to the Colosseum. To find our office take as a reference the Vittoriano (big white monument located in piazza Venezia). Facing it, cross via dei Fori Imperiali and walk in direction of the white column with spirals around and a statue on the top. Keep walking leaving the column on your right and the churches on your left. As soon as you overcome the second church, turn left into Via di Santa Eufemia.

Participant restrictions
SEGWAY Children Policy: The Segway is appropriate for virtually anyone between 14 and 70 of age, with a minimum of 145 cm (4,75 ft) of height and over 40 kilos (90 pounds) of weight.
Children under 18 years of age cannot take part of our tours alone. They must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
Please note that our staff will have the right to decline accepting your child without any obligation to refund you for her/his tickets.

Policies
Cancellation: 7 days prior 30% penalty, 3 days prior 100% penalty. No show 100% penalty.
This tour has a minimum of 1 passengers and maximum of 8 passengers in order to operate.
Complete information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, will be included on your Confirmation Voucher.
