No need to worry about all the hectic details of traveling to Versailles from Paris, lining up to buy tickets, or how to get into and around the palace grounds once you arrive. You will meet your guide at a central Paris café, and all the details are taken care of from there. You are free to relax and enjoy a beautiful time at Versailles, returning to Paris in the early afternoon with plenty of daylight to cross something else off your list.

During this popular skip-the-line tour, a passionate and knowledgeable guide will explain the history of the palace and life at the royal court as you stroll through Versailles' beautiful Royal Gardens. You will then bypass the long lines and be given immediate access to the Chateau. An audio guide is provided so you can explore the famous palace rooms, including the Hall of Mirrors, at your own pace. The flexibility of this tour means you can return to Paris in your own time, allowing for another activity in the afternoon or a longer visit of Versailles.

Location
This tour meets in a small park/clearing on Avenue Emile Zola opposite a café named "Café Regalia". The closest métro station is Javel-André Citroën (line 10). Use exit 1 (sortie 1, right side). The easiest taxi address is for the cafe: 1, Rue de la Convention, 75015 Paris. Your guide will be wearing a Fat Tire Tours t-shirt and holding a sign.

Additional Information
We recommend you wear appropriate footwear and that you are comfortable walking 5km/3 miles over the course of the tour.
We encourage guests to bring a backpack to help carry supplies.
Please keep an eye on the weather and dress accordingly, and be prepared for rain if needed since we are outside most of the day.

Participant restrictions
This tour is not accessible for our guests in a wheelchair as we will be walking 5km/3 miles and some paths we use are unpaved and may be difficult.
Infants age 0 to 3 are free of charge. All guests under 18 must be
accompanied by an adult.

Policies
Cancellation: 3 days prior 100% penalty. No show always 100% penalty.
Check-in opens 30 minutes in advance and closes 5 minutes prior to your activity time, so please arrive early. It is imperative that all guests arrive on time. Once the tour has begun we do not have the ability to wait and add late arrivals to the tour since we will have already boarded the train to Versaliles.
All of our tours operate rain or shine. Please check the weather and dress
accordingly.
