Itinerary
Discover Barcelona life through a lens! On this truly unique Barcelona photography tour, you’ll learn how to creatively use your camera to capture the essence of this mind-blowing (and ever so photogenic) Spanish city, and communicate its spirit through your photos. Your expert local guide will take you through Barcelona’s gorgeous neighborhoods, giving you photo lessons along the way to snap the very best photos of the city’s magical streets and panoramas. Wanna learn how to photograph a city like a pro? This is the tour for you!
Your Barcelona photo tour will kick off in the ever-trendy Borne district, famed with the locals for its cool bars and terraces. Here we’ll take photos at all kinds of buildings, from modernist masterpieces at the Borne Cultural Centre, to one of Barcelona’s most popular Basilicas. As we continue to tour Barcelona’s Borne area, your local guide will also lead you to some of the district’s best urban street art, something you’ll definitely want to take photos of as a memento of your time in Barcelona.
Next on this Barcelona tour, we’ll head through Paseo de Colom of Port Vell, or the Old Port. Here we’ll climb up to higher ground so that we can take some epic photos of the harbor and city as a whole. You’ll have plenty of time up here to look out over the fishing pier and all the parts of the city you can see, and your expert guide will fill you in on some of the best angles to check out at this viewpoint.
We’ll continue on from here along the pier and past one of Barcelona’s most beautiful squares, where Barcelona’s famous Colom is located. Barcelona is the kind of place where there is something gorgeous to photograph around every corner, so as we wander, your local guide will be pointing out plenty of cool shots to take. With an expert by your side you’re sure to never miss that awesome piece of street art, flawless Gothic building, or snapshot of local life – the kinds of things you’ll definitely want in your BCN photo album!
We’ll head into the Raval district, an alternative neighborhood where all kinds of cultures are mixed, from student life to Barcelona’s buzzing immigrant population. We’ll walk by some legendary Gaudi architecture (because what Barcelona tour would be complete without it...), the city’s Film Library, and stroll down some of Raval’s most iconic streets, taking photos of the classic Barcelona buildings, tall and compact, and dotted with balconies.
Our next stop on this Barcelona photography tour will take a shift from the cozy streets and dive into market life in La Bouqueria. Here your senses will come alive as you’re surrounded by all kinds of smells, shapes, and colors. La Bouqueria is one of the best places in Barcelona to take photos, as it connects you to everyday local life in the city and will add a dash of color to your photo album. If you haven’t yet broken out the #nofilter, don’t be surprised if now’s the time.
This tour will leave you with so many memories of your time in Barcelona, and plenty of sharp photo skills to take with you on your future travels around the world!
