Enjoy a riding tour on the outskirts of the capital and get to know the Icelandic Viking horse which is a breed that has remained virtually unchanged since the early settlers brought it to Iceland in the 9th century.

Bred to carry people for long distances over the most treacherous terrain the Icelandic horse is an extremely sure footed animal, strong and resilient. It is very sociable and easy to ride making it the perfect horse for riding tours.

After the healthy riding experience, we head to the Blue Lagoon. Once there you have a variety of recreational options such as bathing in the warm milky blue water, massage and spa treatments, or simply walking in the Blue Lagoon's spectacular surroundings.

Inclusion
Hotel pick-up and drop-off (central Reykjavik); Viking horse riding tour; Professional guide on the riding tour; Standard admission ticket to the Blue Lagoon.

Hours of operation
Available daily at 9:30am and 1:00pm. Hotel pick-up is 30 minutes prior to chosen departure time.

Duration
Tour is approximately 8 hours. Driving time from the Blue Lagoon to Reykjavik is around 50 minutes. Shown duration time is only the suggested length of stay in the Blue Lagoon, you are welcome to take any of our scheduled busses back to Reykjavik. Return busses depart every hour from 3:00pm to 9:00pm.

Participant restrictions
Not recommended for children aged 7 and under.

Policies
Cancellation: 1 day prior 100% penalty. No show 100% penalty.
Please inform the bus driver on your way to the Blue Lagoon which departure you would like to take after visiting the Blue Lagoon.
